Chumash - Parashat - Vayera

We are studying Unit # 6 – Chapter 19 verses 4-11.

Tefillah - We are learning  Iyun Tefillah - the meanings of the individual prayers, key words, and how each prayer is relevant to us from the Tal Am program.

Holidays – We are studying about Chanukah.

 

Due to the chag of Chanukah and the many events of the upcoming week,
we will not have a vocabulary test or any homework.

 

Next week I will visit Shilot school in Israel as part of our school partnership.

I will leave school on Friday, Dec. 14 and will return after the winter break.

Ms. Stock, Rabbi Hauser, and Morah Minna will be filling in for me
while I am away.
During this period of time, in addition to the regular routine,
they will begin a new unit on Rashi.

 

When I return from Israel I will bring the projects, letters and gift prepared
by the third grade students of Shilot school to our students.
I would like to wish you Chanukah Sameach and to enjoy your winter break.
