Dear parents,

In our class we have been preparing for the upcoming holiday season by studying about Rosh Hashanah. We have been working in our Rosh Hashanah workbooks which each student will bring home to share with you. Please encourage your child to use this book during Rosh Hashanah celebration about laws, customs and meanings for the holiday. You may keep this book, bur please return this page signed to indicate this you have received it.

Parashat Hashavua H.W.

Dear Parents

Every Friday, the students will bring home their Parashat Hashavua sheets.  I encourage all parents to discuss these sheets with their children on Shabbat and return them to school on Mondays with your signature to show me that you worked together on this.

Shofar Factory

Dear 4^th  Grade Parents,

  As part of our learning about the month of Elul, CTA has a been given

a special opportunity to have the students participate in a shofar factory.

Each student involved will learn about the process of making a kosher shofar and then will make his/her own shofar.

 

When:  Thursday, September 15^th

Time:  4:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m.

Where: CTA

Cost:  $10

Spaces fill up quickly, so please send back the completed form with your cash payment or check made out to CTA.

A light snack will be provided for all participants.
