Every Wednesday there will be a vocabulary test based mostly on our classes in Chumash and occasionally from Navi.

Every Friday, the students will bring home their Parashat Hashavua sheets.  I encourage all parents to discuss these sheets with their children on Shabbat and return them to school on Mondays with your signature to show me that you worked together on this.

Every Monday we will have a  Parashat Hashavua test.

Tests Schedule

Dear parents,

We will have 3 tests next week.

On Wednesday, October 26, -we will have our weekly vocabulary test.

On Thursday, October 27 there will be a Chagim test about yom kippur and succot.

On Friday, October 28, we will have our Torah test.

The students will receive a review sheet to study for the tests.

Sukkah Hop

Dear parents,

We started the days of chol hamoed with a lot of simcha the 4^th grade students went to ahavas shalom and after that to the JCC’s succah. They played games, heard stories and words of torah, and shared the joy of sukkot with the preschool kids at the JCC.

Tomorrow we will celebrate Simchat Beit Hashoeyvah in our school’s sukkah.

Dear parents,

I hope you hade a great Rosh Hashanah and that you found some time during the holyday to go over the booklet that your child brought home. This coming week we will be focused on studding for Yom Kippur, chummash, and immediately after that we will focus on studying for succot.

In chumash we started the second story of parashat va’yetze (chapter 29, psukim 1-8) this coming week we will study pesukim 9 until the end of the chapter.
