Dear Parents,

Last Friday we finished studying parashat Vayeitze.
We celebrated a “Siyum- breakfast” - it was a meaningful and fun time .
On Monday B”H we will start the new parasha -  Vayeishlach

We also started a new reading program.
The students received their first assignment.
Please encourage them to read as much as possible.

Holidays We will be studying about Tu B’Shevat and a unit about blessings.

Projects –  Next week we
will be  busy with two projects:
1.  The meaning of each student’s name .
2.  The 12 Tribes.

Please do not Forget
Every Monday we will have a  Parashat Hashavua test.
Every Wednesday there will be a vocabulary test based mostly on our classes in Chumash and occasionally from Navi.
Every Thursday - Reading Homework is due - Students should read ten psukim.
Every Friday, the students will bring home their Parashat Hashavua sheets.  I encourage all parents to discuss these sheets with their children on Shabbat and return them to school on Mondays with your signature to show me that you worked together on this.

Attached to this letter, you will find the list of the vocabulary words.

Sincerely,
Moreh Dror  karavani
